OUR STORY

We opened PJP Auto Enterprises in October of 2002. Many people ask us what does PJP stand for? It stands for Paul and Janette Peak. Paul is from a small farming town in Winchester, Illinois. Janette is from the south side of Chicago. What are the odds? A small town boy and big city girl meet in Springfield, Illinois to start our new journey together in the car industry. It all came about as we were preparing for marriage, and Paul was in a job transition. At the request of the bride-to-be, he went looking for an antique car to ride in after their wedding. He found a guy who had a used car business, specializing in antique cars. Through his inquiry and other visits to this car lot, the owner offered him a job. After working there a few months, Paul starting buying and selling cars for the owner, and eventually he bought the business. With the money we saved, we were able to open up PJP Auto Enterprises, Inc. without having to borrow from a bank. We have built a thriving pay and drive business that has remained successful because we combine simple ingredients: great cars, great service, honesty, and integrity. We keep our overhead low so we can pass our savings onto our customers.

We are Christian owned and operated, setting a high standard that goes beyond how people typically perceive buy here/pay here businesses or the used car industry. We strive to treat customers with fairness and respect. Based on these beliefs, we have three core values that we stand by:

• We will never sell our customers ancillary products they do not need or want.
• We will look at all financing options and find a vehicle that is suitable and affordable for your budget.

We have a variety of dependable and reasonably priced pre-owned vehicles. We live by the slogan, "Where We Earn Customer Loyalty". We have many repeat customers and clients who refer lots of family and friends. Many customers compliment our warmth and friendliness, which is also complimented by the ambience of our facility.

Our superior customer service is a direct reflection of amazing employees! We strive to create a supportive and rewarding work environment so our employees know how valuable their contributions are to the success of our business.

When we're not working, we enjoy golfing, traveling to warm weather destinations, and spending time with our family. We have three children, Brett, Holly and Erin and five beautiful grandchildren. Brett, our oldest son, works in the business as General Manager.
