“Five Dollar Fridays”
An Employee Sponsored Charity Fundraiser Program
PJP Autos’ employees realize there are many people who are less fortunate than themselves. Therefore, they have come up with a plan to help others in their local community. Here’s how the “Five Dollar Fridays” works. Each employee has picked out their favorite local charity. Every Friday, all willing employees will donate $5 dollars towards the charity fund for an entire month. At the end of the month, the charity name drawn will receive the total collection for the month and the owners will match that donation. A different employee charity will be chosen each month. Those selected local charities include:
- American Red Cross
- Make-A-Wish Foundation
- The Ronald McDonald House
- Boys & Girls Club
- The Parent Place
- Sangamon County Child Advocacy Center
- Asbury’s Children Supper Hour
- March of Dimes
- St. Johns Bread Line
- Habit for Humanity of Sangamon County
- The Apple Seed Project
